Update from Salone del Mobile 2015

We’re back from a great week at Salone del Mobile where we were overwhelmed by the positive feedback we received from visitors to our showroom.

The big talking points were our new collections Fontane Bianche by Elisa Ossino and PLAT-EAU by Silvia Fanticelli.

Purity and simplicity are the hallmarks of this collection, which pays homage to the white sands of the eponymous beach in Elisa’s native Sicily. Fontane Bianche, or White Fountains in English, is an area in Siracusa noted for its rivulets of fresh water, which run into the Mediterranean and the clean sculpted lines of the collection recall this natural phenomenon.
Fontane Bianche comprises three basins and, in homage to the groundbreaking work of Donald Judd, a series of modular drawers and floating shelves in gleaming white Bianco Carrara marble, which evokes the clarity of the Sicilian sun. Finishing touches, including the interior of the shelves, tapware and pantograph mirrors are provided in burnished pewter.

PLAT-EAU COLLECTION by Silvia Fanticelli

A self-confessed Francophile, Silvia has paired Parisian sensuality and style with retro vintage. The collection is a series of home and bathroom accessories, which mix brass with irregularly-shaped pieces from Salvatori’s range of textures. The result is a wonderful collage of accessories ranging from toothbrush holders and soap dishes to trays and tables, which add an air of playful elegance to any setting.
