Delivery and assembly
Every product we send out is covered by insurance during delivery.
Our Standard Delivery option means that your order will be delivered to an address at street level. We also offer the following services:
- Delivery to the floor of your choice
- Assembly and packaging removal
If you wish to choose either of the above services, please send an email to our customer services team at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you have received confirmation of your order from us. We will then send you a quote. Any additional costs arising from the selection of these services are not reimbursable should the item(s) be returned.
For orders of our bulkier products, delivery times may vary based on the dimensions of the item ordered and availability of stock. If we have the item in stock it will be delivered within 4 or 5 working days. If you would like to check the availability of a particular product or for more detailed information about timing, please contact our team at email@example.com.
Please note that during the period 1st through to 27th August, only those items which are already in stock will be delivered whilst during the week of 14th to 20th August we are unable to fulfil any orders. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience.
All our tables leave the factory pre-sealed.
Since we do not like to paint the surface of our lovely stones with transparent paints or resins, we apply three coats of the highest possible level of protective penetrating sealant. This will preserve both your table and the natural feel of the stone.
That said, please bear in mind that there is no sealer on the market that can make a natural stone 100% stain proof, especially if you leave the staining agent on it for a prolonged period. The sealant allows you to have a few hours between the moment the staining agent (wine, coffee, perfume, etc) comes in contact with the stone and the moment you wipe it off. So, if wine spills on your table, you will need to wipe it off within a few hours to avoid permanent staining.
As far as maintenance goes, DO NOT use cleaners containing abrasive cleansers, ammonia, bleach, acid or even those “homemade remedies” made from lemon, vinegar and the like. Simply use water or a neutral detergent. It will be more than enough.
If you are a particularly assiduous cleaner, you can set your mind at rest by periodically applying a new coat of sealer.
You can buy that here and then simply follow the instructions on the pack.
